I didn't see many theatrical movies this year. Happy I chose to see Rogue One on opening weekend in IMAX 3D though.
Saw the Ghostbusters remake and Jason Bourne while stateside in July. They were definitely both movies. Ghostbusters was fun, but superfluous. I'm happy to see strong females in science roles. Bourne was only about half as smart as Damon's previous outings, but it was substantially better than the garbage Jeremy Renner entry.
Standout home viewings included: He Never Died, Henry Rollins plays an antisocial immortal. Loved it. Going to re-watch soon. Foolproof, an underrated Ryan Reynolds movie about amateur heist theoreticians being forced to go pro. Recommended.
There was a whole bunch of stuff I watched on planes. I watched Batman v Superman on a plane. I know it's bad when I watch a two hour movie on a 10 hour flight and I still felt like I could have used the time better.
