Frog Fractions 2 (Glittermitten Grove)

Anyone play this?

The initial game is Glittermitten Grove which is a super simple resource management game that takes place in a fairy grove. It's easy but actually kinda good.

Eventually you find the *game* which looks like an ASCII Dark Souls complete with messages on the ground. Also it has a character creator with a Mass Effect 2 save import.

Then there's a text adventure detective mystery that takes places in Dantes Inferno, a turn based game where you play as a space marine trying to annoy your xenomorph roommate to move out. Then a turn based TRON laser game.

No idea how far down the rabbit hole goes. But honestly I was actually having fun with Glittermitten Grove.

Frog Fractions was a game where it started as something super unassuming but there was a rabbit hole of weird stuff that went in a lot of unexpected directions.

The developer did a Kickstarter for a sequel but the catch was that it wasn't going to actually be called Frog Fractions 2, and that it would be released on secret. He'd only reveal it once it was discovered.

2 years, and an ARG later, it was finally found.

This is a similar deal of a game but I don't know how far it goes.

Frog Fractions was fun, but it was also free. I'll wait for a sale on the sequel.

So I read more about Frog Fractions 2 and it looks like it has a lot of inspiration from ZZT, which means SOLD

Haven't had a chance to play the original, though actually I think I might have a whileeeee back.
