 There is a common fear that, with Trump's slide into popularism, he will uproot and undermine our basic systems of government through constitutional amendments. This plays into liberal fear quite heavily, but is extremely unlikely due to the system of checks and balances that we have.

 So far, every illegal thing that Trump has attempted to do has been caught and denied by the branches of government that are supposed to do so. Our larger problem is that the noncoastal American populace seems to enjoy his fascist, bullying, and jingoistic manner.

 What bugs me the most, having been blamed for this for my entire life, is the "it's not my fault" response Trump supporters spout when he does something they don't like.  YES, IT IS YOUR FAULT. YOU HANDED THE BABY A GUN.
