Back to back v-days as a single. The last one took place within only a week of getting my feelings rekt. But I don't really feel that gaping void of loneliness so much these days. After several months to a year of being single you eventually get used to being on your own, at least most of the time. You adapt and learn to exist as a singular entity. Sometimes I long for the intimacy and companionship but then I see my friends in relationships (or look back on my own past) and I feel a lil bit better about a life free of such entanglements.

On a different note I thought tonight would be a good night to go out and meet some lonely girls and maybe break my coldstreak but then I woke up with a horrific cold sore on my lip and look like I have mad herps  :'(

I didn't even bother to give a shit about Valentine's Day.  The way I see it, if we're not actually seeing each other, the most she gets is a "Happy Valentine's Day! <3" text and that is it.

Saw both Lego Batman and John Wick 2 (Jesus that movie so good!) and then we got some sushi. Went home after that and was gonna make a nice dinner but instead ended up dunking in the hole and going for a walk.

Brought home chicken gorgonzola, shrimp scampi, and calamari from this great Italian place. Shared that and a bottle of wine with the wifey. 

Later, when the neighbor lady got home from work, I mentioned the wife to call her and give her some of the leftovers from dinner. But I just wanted the neighbor lady to come over and occupy my wife's attention so I could play some vidya.

Just hung out at home and played some Lagrange Point. Been chatting with a few new girls on Match, though I haven't gone out with anyone in a few weeks now - getting my job situation sorted is #1 priority. One girl seems pretty interesting - she's in Hyderabad on business related travel but wants to go out when she gets back.
