Well at least the Nokia 6 is a step in a decent enough direction.

This is going to be a very important device to many of us when we travel to the US and back. The boys at the border will ask for your smartphone and the PIN code.

Out comes the Nokia 3310, and a smile.

Not gonna lie tho i can see it doing decent in certain circles and i think it's better to go this left field route instead of chasing after iphone. So long as it's near indestructible as the og 3310

Honestly, for my kid this makes sense. He can't destroy it. Long battery. Cheap.

The idea of a 3310 with Whattsapp is actually appealing. I would waste so much less time.

I hate to sound like a dirty poor, but there are advantages to going from an ¥8000/mo. data plan to a ¥1400/mo. voice plan.

Unless it's a 1:1 copy of the original 3310's design, I don't want it. :maf

Rumors had it that if you beat the game by filling all the pixels with snek, Nokia would send you a free phone.

Yeah, I guess the idea of people wanting to play real games on their phone is kind of weird.

One step closer to bringing back the Sidekick  8)

That was Danger, not Nokia. And IIRC Danger wasn't part of Nokia even before MS acquired them.

The only reason the 3310 is more memorable to me than the 3210, is because it was my first vibrating cell phone.

Curious about feature phones in 2017 came across this phone which had me more interested:

Punkt MP01. Price is ridiculous but I can see the appeal. The UI and sounds are lovely for a simplified device. Until you realize it's 2G only and globally it's been either already phased out will be or within the next year or so. So short-sighted for such a design. And no replaceable battery either despite a detachable back.

I wish I was old.

It was called out in an article I read. Maybe even TFA. I don't remember, because i was busy yelling at clouds.

Being old isn't so bad.
