Driving to Detroit for a day
« on: March 15, 2017, 02:56:29 PM »
Hear me out

I'm going to visit Hazel Park Michigan to pick up a pinball game on Saturday March 25th. I've been through the area once but I've never had the opportunity to spend any time. Is there one neat lunch place I should visit before I hit the road back to WV?

Well, if I ever find myself in Detroit (for Movement one year?) I'd definitely go here:

Detroit is fine, especially this time of year. You're not visiting a dangerous area. In general my view of Detroit is that unless you're somewhere you're not supposed to be, you'll be perfectly fine. But if you're riding around at midnight in a bad area...

Detroit's roads are very bad. In fact, an entire swath of interstate is nonexistent.

I did see a really big tire though.

And I found a place called beef jerky unlimited

You should have stopped by and got some alligator jerky: https://beefjerkyunlimited.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=127

They were out of it. I did get Cajun beef and spicy garlic chicken.

So good.

There are jerky outlets seemingly along every interstate in Michigan anymore. If it was once an animal they are offering jerky from it.

PD confirm.

I also bought a small bag of this:

https://beefjerkyunlimited.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=92&product_id=115

Nitromethane Jerky. It uses habanero peppers as its base.

It was not as entertaining for me as I thought it would be.
