He sent an action replay cart as well but I haven't been able to get it to work. He also sent a cart that has a bunch of Japanese on it and I don't know what it's about. I'm assuming it's the ram expansion cart since it's an official Sega product.

Ah, I got it working with the Action Replay.

The Action Replay's a bit wonky sometimes. I replaced the battery for the Saturn's internal saves for you because I'm cool like dat. PLAY PRINCESS CROWN NOW NOW NOW

Wow yeah it was. I did the same thing only with Dragon Force, SFIII, and Panzer Dragoon Saga.
A year later I sold off my switch modded white Saturn. Regretted it ever since.
