Target is doing a B2G1 free in games next week. I have access to the discount. I was gonna but three games, return two and keep Destiny 2 for the prorated price or try to get a group by going with two other people. The lack of end game is worrying. I didn’t have the best time with the first game as far as the content grabbing me. The feel of the game was great though, but that’s never been a Bungie issue.

I played a good 60+ hours before the endgame sunk in. I don't regret the purchase. I didn't play hundreds of hours of the original though.

And if you like doing the little quests and stuff for story fluff, I left a lot of those undone with that timeframe. Also have not done the raid. Not much competitive either.

I understand why the network gameplay is walled-garden for PC/PS4/Xbone, but can anyone tell me why it doesn't support character parity across platforms? It's a GRINDY game, and if someone wants to double dip, those stats are all just sitting on Activision/Bungie's servers.

The argument could be made that players could use accounts simultaneously and then keeping the character's data clean would be difficult… but that's just a matter of using a timestamp, or forcing a manual upload process.

It makes NO SENSE why they don't have this.

Edit: Hunter feels shitty compared to the other classes. Is it just the arc subclass? I just feel like my tool kit is restrictive as fuck and my melee does not hurt.  How do i get golden gun?

You'll get subclass missions as you level up in-game.
