The war in Iraq - my view
« on: January 26, 2007, 08:40:40 PM »
posted this on opa-ages, but i figured i'd post it here, too.

i should add that i think the us should invade iran.

i wonder why the us bothers investing the lives of so many young men and women in a futile effort to tame these beasts.

that region, save for israel, is a backwards land of primitives who'd rather reside in the stone age than join those of us occupying the civilized world.

were i president, i'd cleanse iraq of the extremists, thsoe who hold the koran above human life.

if you're an islamo-fascist, one who believes that nation should come under islamic law, bound by the illiberal tenets embodied by that text, you should be shot on sight.

i'm sick and fucking tired of the us, out of politically correct courtesy, using a stick to rein in these monsters.

use a belt, an extension cord, or even start pummeling the beast until it understands that we, westerners, aren't going to sit here and allow YOU to subject FREE people to the monstrosity that is islam.

fuck YOU, sand distinguished black fellow motherfuckers.

Haha.  I don't think he does.  I think he just enjoys being a demi-God to some distinguished mentally-challenged fellows.

In the book Liberalism Is A Mental Disorder, he actually does have some good ideas regarding Iraq.  He also has some really crazy ones too though.  So I'm torn.  :-\

None that aren't common sense.  I really like mupepe, but sometimes he tries to please everyone.  You're too cool for that, mupupangus.  Don't sweat it.

:(  Futami already hates me, there's no pleasing him.  lolz  I think that happened when I called him a loser that's still hanging on his mom's teat.

But yeah, most of his good ideas are common sense.  Doesn't stop them from being good ideas though.  I really do love listening to Michael Savage though.  Everyday from 5pm to 8pm.  Oh man, he makes my day.  I swear, he has to spout half of that shit just to argue with people and watch them whine.  That crazy fuck.

what's crazy about it?

look these people are entrenched in a state of mind that is homicidally averse to the idea of freedom.

they are rabidly devout islamic extremists who believe that you and i should die because we are not muslim.

do you understand that?

there is no reasoning with that brand of fanaticism, leaving no other choice but the extermination of their kind.

People who constantly play the "LOL Bush is going to attack Iran!" card piss me off. Bush is misguided but he's not a god damn idiot to the point where he'd do something like that. We simply don't have the resources to unilaterally attack Iran right now; we're indeed bogged down in Iraq, and that won't change for awhile.

This is why the administration is going to take a more diplomatic approach to confronting Iran. Right now the entire world is not happy about their nuclear ambitions. Bush will fan the fires of this unrest and if it comes to war, we'll have a lot of help. But I doubt things will comes to that.

I'm more concerned about North Korea, who actually has threatened us before. Iran's leader strikes me as the type of guy who would comply a bit more if he was engaged. If Bush would get off his high seat, take a page out of Reagan's book, and just engage Iran's leader things would be much better imo

As a libertarian, you should understand that force is only justified in retaliation to force.

Outright preemptive invasion is WRONG in any situation.

State sponsored terrorism, nuclear weapon proliferation, and death threats just muck up the logic though  :-\

on 9/11, these fanatics plowed two planes into the wtc, and one into the pentagon, killing 3,000 citizens.

i'd say that was a sufficiently grievous offense to merit what is currently taking place in iraq.

look, i used to oppose the war, falling in line with the other brainless anti-war dipshits who're incapable of giving pause to the idea that, wow, one can SUPPORT THE WAR and still be a "liberal."

in fact, with these animals engaged in the violent proselytization of a fascist doctrine, how can ANY man or woman who calls themselves "liberal" NOT support the war in iraq?

Bush couldn't attack a falafel right now.  The interesting thing about both NK and Iran is, they're using the same diplomatic strategy--NK contrasts bellicose rhetoric over official channels with acquiescence to negotiations on the backchannel.  Iran has begun to do the same "good cop/bad cop" strategy, with Ahmadinejad playing the role of "bad cop" and the ruling religious bodies as "good cop."
