The Bore Tour - 2017

Lately I've been going through my mid-life crisis a bit, figuring out who I am and what I enjoy. While there's a lot of great things out there, like fresh clean air, and One Piece, what makes me the most happy is spending time with friends and bonding. A chunk of the people I like the most in this world post here on The Bore. Those I've met, either from Japan, local beers, or Bore-con have all been amazing individuals and I've felt a deeper friendship with people like Karakand who I see about once a month now post-Bore-con, and Tasty Meat who I have a better appreciation for as a really nice guy, Chronovore whose like the best role model you can meet, etc...

So since while Bore-con was a lot of fun last year, not a lot of people could make it out, this year I want to go out to your towns and meet you! Like I'm thinking it'd be nice to take a Friday/Monday off once a month and do a 4 day weekend in one of your cities/towns and hang out Plus even after all these years I still hate flying, so it'd be nice to force myself to fly regularly to get more ok with it.

I'm pretty booked for June, so I'm thinking starting in July would be cool. I'd definitely be up for a Seattle trip in the summer to cooler weather (plus I always like visiting Mr. Gundam and other ex-Bore friends), but really, anywhere in the US is cool. International I'd need more time off, but if Bore-con happens in London I'd be down to go.

So yeah, if you'd like to get to know a fellow Bore guy more, let me know when's a good weekend for you. Like feel free to bump this 3 months later if you're like "hey I got a free weekend coming up, why don't I invite that Bebpo guy over to have a BBQ at my place?" etc...

Yeah Snorenado I remember last year when you offered to show me around and I've been really wanting to get out there and meet you because you're a really cool guy. When it cools down in the fall, like Sept or Oct would be great.

There's actually a continuing education thing for my job that's in NY in August, but my experience with NYC in August is that it's 8,0000 degrees? I love NYC though, so I'll definitely go back at some point not too far out and I'll hit you up when I do. Shoot, this actually lines up. The meeting is August 10-13th which would be that weekend.  Maybe I'll go?

I'm open to Osaka… or even as far as Kyoto or Kobe for a Bore-meet. Hell, if there are more than two of you, I'd even make the trip to Tokyo.

Won't visit Texas even for a night of cuddling with Mups. Sorry, there's just something seriously wrong with that state.
