help mac wtf do I wear

I need some sort of clothes that are between "t-shirt and jeans" and "dress shirt and dress pants" in formality, but all the possibilities that immediately come to mind are disgusting:

* polo shirts - disgusting
* khakis/slacks - disgusting
* untucked dress shirts - super disgusting
* short-sleeved dress shirts - generally disgusting, I found one that didn't seem so bad but still probably unacceptable???

I discovered "henleys" which seem to work pretty well, but they're long-sleeved and it's too hot for that rn. Is there an acceptable short-sleeved semi-dressy style?

Short sleeve button up (queef nerdlings need not apply)

Some sort of canvas uppered shoe like an espadrille (only if ur a man)
