The FBI categorizing Juggalos as a gang is a testament to just how dumb and out of touch one of the most well funded intelligence agencies on earth can be, and they did it like 5 years after The Gathering infomercial went viral and basically everyone from CoS to Rolling Stone had sent some suburbanite cracker to write an article that always surmised it as "these people do a lot of drugs and gross shit but they're pretty congenial folks all and all."

I doubt that. I'm pretty sure the classification is a result of the amount of Juggalo tats/gear that would show up on arrestees in petty crime cases in the US. I don't think any employer is going to deny potential employment of a self-described Juggalo cuz "they're in a gang" instead of "they're always wearing dumb clown shit". Juggalos aren't organizing chapter meetings to form criminal schemes, unless you count pitching in on a nitrous tank or the like, which is also why the gang label is so dumb

Oh, pfft. No it doesn't. Juggalos are "criminals" because they're poor white trash (generally white, I have never met a minority Juggalo) under a different name. A lot of them are poor lower-class folks. I say this as someone that came from a said poor lower-class school that had quite a few of them.

Tbh they've had some insane lineups at their festivals. A few years ago they had Master P, George Clinton and Funkadelic, Geto boys, Danny Brown, Kool Keith, Pharcyde, Warren G, Fat Boys, Raekwon, Biz Markie, Rahzel, and a bunch more. It's not as stacked recently, though.

I know a family of Mexicans that are super Juggalo.  They have all been into it since high school and they both have master degrees, are very successful and really kind people but when the full moon comes 'round...

Yeah, I can't hate. I also know some furries (Broseidon aside). All are decent people with weird quirks like being a furry and juggalo.

So I mean... Who doesn't have weird shit in their closets along with their skeletons, right?
