McGregor had no defense to speak. I've never seen such a bad stance in a boxing match. His face was free.

Floyd let him save face at the end

Only losers are the people who bought this or bet on Conor

I pirated it by watching on twitch so I won but I lost in the end by actually watching it.

I'd say the only winners were Conor, Floyd, and the people who bet on Floyd. Everyone else loses by proxy.

Initially I figured that Connor would lose, make bank and never fight again. UFC prob can't afford him again anyway. But now I can imagine, in a few months, him deciding to box again and thinking his loss is easily fixable (cardio/stamina).

Imagine him fighting a less defensive fighter. Brehs imagine something like...Connor v Canelo. He'd get killed

You actually believe this was legit and they didn't set this up to have an easy cash pay out?

Bro, Conor losing has nothing to do with Floyd being defensive. Conor had no defense and didn't block or protect one shot to the head if I recall. Mayweather could have knocked him out on round 1. This was all about money. The fact they were laughing during the "fight"'makes that clear.

Was walking around downtown Patchogue but the only bar showing it charged a $25 cover so I just went to my favorite craft pub there instead.

I'm glad this circus finally over with.

Conor never needs to work another day in his life but will be a shame if we never see McGregor in the UFC again. He's fun as hell to watch in MMA and injects a ton of energy not just into his fights but the sport as a whole.  Him vs. Ferguson has a lot of potential for a great fight.

Cobrinha would destroy him and they wouldn't end the match early either.

McGregor should now fight Ruben Charles Cobrinha under IBJJF rules.

Yeah, but literally no one would care about that

The first six rounds were some of the weirdest shit I've ever seen. I'm honestly shocked that Mcgregor held his own for as long as he did. Floyd looked old.

Can't wait for the rematch at Wrestlemania 40

It was a lot more entertaining than I think most people expected. Neither guy embarrassed themselves, both sounded classy post fight, everyone had a good time, everyone got paid. All wins.
For the most part yeah. Conor looked like he just skimmed the rules to boxing on the way over but otherwise it was okay.

I haven't watched much boxing, but it was pretty boring and didn't convince me to become a fan of the sport.

The cynic in me believes it ended in such a way that they can have a rematch and generate even more stupidity and cash.
