he got into a shower naked with someone who didn't want him to be there
you fucking distinguished mentally-challenged fellow
But he didn't know she didn't want him there. They were on a road trip, she was staying in a hotel with him and they both just got back from a night of binge drinking. She was in an open relationship (apparently only with girls though). The elf thought he had it in the bag, he didn't and got out. So??
None of those things give him the right to act that way.
Have you been in a relationship before? These are kind of accepted normal human courtesies we're supposed to offer to others. You don't get to do stupid shit and get away with it just because you "didn't know."
Have you? I used to be like some of you until I realized women would call you a fucking pussy behind your back if you're not assertive enough. Now, what Evilore did was pathetic and too forward but even kissing a woman makes you a sexual predator now with SJ Ws. It basically boils down to this: Did it work? How romantic! It didn't? SEXUAL PREDATOR! RAPIST! SCUM!
Evilore is a special fellow who doesn't understand women there's no doubt about that, but does it deserve that kind of response? Fuck no. Like I said the other incident he described about grabbing a woman's ass is far, FAR worse than this one.
Unless you are completely emotionally distinguished mentally-challenged and socially oblivious(and on this I often am with woman that show interest, which says something), most woman do in fact lead things in courting, just not overtly. Flirtations, insinuations, signaling, or the ones on the shy side with gossiping with friends that know will blab. You can be both assertive and confident in the flow and still just ride the waves of what a woman is comfortable with, using well-timed dialogue to feel out what they are open to escalating with emotionally or physically.
Yes, occasionally you might press further than a signal was evident, but its pretty fucking easy to not end up in a situation where you are following some drunk girl that just threw up, into the shower you weren't signaled into. Even if she is a bit crazy and clearly feeling out cheating on her man to satisfy her possible wannabe Zuckerberg elf fetish.
“Hey let’s go to Mardi Gras together and share a room” would mean “go time” for most men.
Frankly, I wouldn’t go on a road trip alone with a woman unless I knew I was getting laid out of it unless they were family or I knew them for like 10+ years.
I’m not exactly excusing what he did as “fine”. It wasn’t fine, but it also wasn’t particularly outside of the ordinary for normal boy-girl interactions, especially among hard partiers.
Or, more reasonably, "she invited me to Mardi Gras, probably is open to wanting some evilore dick if I play my cards right, but lets see how the night plays out before I count my chickens and assume I am guaranteed drunk throw-up shower sex at my convenience."
At least that is how I would take it and I think most reasonable people.
And listen, I am not one of the people trying to crucify evilore here. A lot of this story is patchy, he said-she said from two sketchy narrators, and lacks enough context to make a definitive conclusion, but at the same time, drunk throw-up shower invasion is a pretty difficult barrier to get past and rationalize, even in the face of their continued friendship. If pushed I see it more as Evilore stepping over a clear line, one non-emotional idiots wouldn't step over, but not one so big they weren't able to continue escalating the relationship. One that has blown up because evilore is an emotional midget with an inflated ego and can't do the obvious thing and admit wrong-doing and move on.
