Want to thank EviLore and neogaf staff for the gift of destroying fighting game gaf.

We've decided to not head on to Atelier Resetera.

My fighting game teaching thread, dead. I was willing to go to Reset and when I'm confident enough with my fighting game skills to revive my thread and teach people personally how to play fighting games in a lesson like program for free.

But then many of us realized that we are considered "toxic", "problematic". We are too real and frankly absolutely none of us have a filter, as is fighting game player tradition, and we'll be kicked out of that site instantly just for being ourselves. Now our community is scattered into the wind and I got try to e-stalk old friends so they'll join our private discord.

To make matters worse our discord, which we have had for TWO YEARS was swamped by hundreds of users we barely know over the weekend, ruining our environment and community, forcing us to desert our own fucking server.

Thanks for nothing.

They are but it's pretty clear from the staff involved, the track record in their discord, and the new Reset users from our (old) discord that we are not wanted. That's fair. There's definitely some fighting game people signing up Reset, but a really large of us aren't on board.

To be fair, FGC and esports players in general don't know what filters are even used for.
