I'll be honest, don't think Resetera will last as long as some of y'all think.In a few weeks a lot of the 3000 people posting will just give up. It won't be exciting anymore, it doesn't have exactly everything they would want, and they'll move on. I fully understand that the owners of this domain have all the power at this point and they'll do what they want. That said, what do people think of the possibility of setting this up as a non-profit corporation? It undoubtedly serves a public purpose. Donations or contributions would be tax deductible, everyone working on the site could be paid competitive wages, and any profits would be put back into the site for use however the community decides.
