I'm almost longing for the next bitcoin crash because I'll probably be able to nab at least 2 whole bitcoins if it goes down $3000 or 3 bitcoins if it goes down to $2000.

But most people are estimating that it would go down to $5000 or $4500. Still better than buying in around $6300 to $6500.

What do you all think of the guy who deleted 100 millionish dollars worth of etherium from existence?

Lots of people knew the button was there but nobody ever bothered to try and press it because they assumed the people who created the vault weren’t stupid enough not to put a lockbox around it.

To clarify, it was frozen not deleted.

It shouldn't have happened, it did happen. The majority of wallets don't require shared authorisation to access so it won't affect Average Joe's eth, but it has still frozen out a significant amount. Probably not significant enough to try and adopt yet another rollback.

The biggest danger from this for most people is the long term confidence knock of eth, which at least temporarily, will damage the reputation and therefore price. I'm halfway through the process of moving several hundred litecoin into eth to try and reduce the amount of crypto I invest in. This has genuinely made me think twice about continuing.

Not yet. I was really thrown off gaurd with the segwit2x cancelation.

I was eyeing some alts to buy into before November 16th but... they all shot up before I could buy them when they were still at their low points.

If I had know this cancelation was going to happen today I would've made a killing. :-\

On the other hand who had alt made some fucking bank tonight.

My friends portfolio skyrocketed.

So I am in a dilemma: should I wait BTC to fall more before buying or should I jump in now?

So I've been trading options for a month. Started with a $1,000 with a few good investments. Was this) disappointed in this one options contract I got 2 weeks ago but it finally jumped. So overall I've doubled my money in that time but my gut says this will keep on going up and there won't be a correction tomorrow.

Iono. But if anybody else does this type of trading, I would definitely recommend shorting Costco or Roku. I love those companies but their prices are gonna go down in the next few days.

The idea of options trading on crypto currency is mind boggling. You could gain or lose a lot of money really really quickly because it is so volatile.

I'd probably buy in now or in a couple of days when alts start to go down. BTC is in a slump at the moment.

Also, don't panic if it goes below a hundred dollars. It'll shoot back up $200 in a day once it starts gaining momentum again (i.e. when the alts begin to nosedive).

Just be sure to keep an eye on the $7000 price (assuming you're using USD) since there's a lot of support there and if the support breaks get ready to put in some stop losses.

It's funny how my "rational" brain didn't want to buy into BCH because it seemed like a knock off that was just popular because it had the word "bitcoin" in it.  :doge

Anyways, I'm just going to sit tight and wait for the BCH nonsense to blow over.
