I don't think you can blame it on our senior members. They were always there, it's not up to them whether people register or not, it's more of a "thread" problem. But honestly I haven't paid enough attention, maybe I shouldn't have said something in the first place.

I'm not blaming them solely, but maybe they should stop reacting to every care post about GAF or ERA (or creating them themselves). It just fans the flames for those people who are just here for the GAF drama. I used to rather like the GAF thread because it used to make fun of the weird people on GAF without taking itself too serious (most of the time). I think that changed sometime this year, even before that recent Malka drama.

But I don't want to be some holier-than-thou asshole. If people still have fun in that thread than it ain't my place to say anything against it, especially as a filthy junior myself.

Normally I avoid the drama, but: The Gaf thread has been good for keeping the board clean, but can we please burn it to the ground now? I've looked inside every now and then, but right now it's so cancerous I don't understand why we can't just lock it and let those with ants in their pants move somewhere else.

I always thought GAF should try a call out beefs shit talking forum of some kind, now's the ideal time to let the alts in to do that. That would self-delete the threads after a certain date, you only get one thread a year or six months to start, you get banned by increasing amounts depending on how many pages it goes, etc. So there's a cost involved, but it can be minimal if you're smart.

Like a one-on-one only version of that forum SA used to have. (Still does?) Only hilarious because I can't imagine GAF-ERA posters would be any good at it. And half or more of the threads would be about video games.
