God you'd think Vavra was Jared fucking Taylor the way these people talk. No debate allowed he is racist, so sayeth the gods of REEEEEE!!! As if their opinion is what makes things so. I remember asking about Colin Moriarty when the boards first opened, and a mod told me he didn't know the guy much, but apparently other mods said he was really sexist and racist and thus not welcome.
Ok, that was me, sorry. And what I said was that apparently he said something sexist, but I admitted I wasn't familiar with the conversation about him at all. Then I tried looking into it and it was just the dad joke thing. You have no idea how fucking awkward it was PMing you back with "oh, yeah, this thing is pretty sexist..." and not really believing it because it was so fucking ridiculous that I was enforcing a blacklist on a guy like that, of all people. And the vavra and Jordan Peterson stuff is exactly the same.
It's funny, I was about to ask if you were still a mod over there, as even with that you seemed like on of the sane ones. From the sounds of it I'm guessing the answer is no. Thanks for know what went down in the background though, because the Moriarty thing blows my mind more than anything else. Would they not even let you argue the blacklist among the staff? I mean who makes the decision that someone is personal non grata?
I actually don't like Moriarty much his politics are total milquetoast stuff, and he has a holier than thou attitude that I hated. I guess it just showed that no one even the slightest bit on the right is acceptable to some of these yahoos.
If you're not still there, what was the final straw? because I can imagine how crazy it must have been to be inside the belly of the beast so to speak.
