The gameplay doesn't matter at all to the story. It doesn't to any of their games. They tell you every choice matters and all that shit, but in the end you get one of two outcomes for everything no matter what you do, and often the same result regardless of choice you pick in a situation.

Doesn't really matter TBH. I still think it blends story with gameplay well whether the choices are "abitrary" or not. Something like Grim Fandango and Silent Hill don't have much in the way of choice either and still do a good job blending gameplay and story. Who cares.

I know there's people concerning about "Quiet" but don't worry. I created her character as an antithesis to the women characters appeared in the past fighting game who are excessively exposed. "Quiet" who doesn't have a word will be teased in the story as well. But once you recognize the secret reason for her exposure, you will feel ashamed of your words & deeds.

Theme of "MGSV" is "GENE"⇒"MEME"⇒"SCENE"⇒"PEACE"⇒"RACE". Story touches the misunderstanding, prejudice, hatred, conflict caused by the difference of language, race, custom, culture, and preference.  The response of "Quiet" disclosure few days ago incited by the net is exactly what "MGSV" itself is.

I haven't played Policenauts and I know Gillian hits on the teenage girl and there's a shower scene of her I think. Like I said there's pervy stuff in his games. Even in MGS 1-3, but for most part those games didn't have characters as bad as Quiet. Except I guess the Beauties in MGS4. Then there was Noami's whole look. You can play with the birdwatcher's boobs in PW. Look, I agree after MGS3 he got really pervy, but I think pre MGS4 it was tolerable.

They really love taking shots at corporations with a vindictive attitude. I think a lot of people invested in the loot box debate mostly want to deliver a fuck you to companies they dislike rather than make a serious stand on addictive practices in gaming. Someone posted a thread about the Kotaku article about a 19 year old that spent $10k on microtransactions, mostly in CSGO gambling, and most of the thread was comprised of jabs at EA. Very curious to see as the article was mostly talking about a Valve game that's had to deal with actual gambling lawsuits and a state government investigation, plus evidence that a substantial amount of the population only sticks around for the item economy. In MGS4 you had the Beauty and Beast crew, who wore skintight suits that were that way only because Kojima literally couldn't make them naked and pass ratings muster.  If you tranq'ed them to death you would go into a weird alternate dimension with them where they would walk at Snake, slowly, and if they caught him, their attack was to literally HUMP HIM TO DEATH, camel toe and all.
