So that sounds closer to like Counterstrike than the old R6 games? Because I played a shit ton of the first R6 game MP on X360 and it was super good but also pretty damn strategic. Anyhow, I love Rainbow 6 and I've been a dork and not played this one because I generally avoid MP-only games. I should play this in the next year while the userbase is active.

It's still strategic, but less so with the cover system.

I don't know where you separate CS and R6 as far as the genre goes. But is it like CS? Yeah. But unlike CS the bullets you shoot through walls leave holes in the cover to where you (as a camping operator or whatnot) can look at people going by through those holes and shoot them. Which makes it more "tactical/thinking" than CS's spray-downs at times.

I'd say it's a bit more casual than R6 but still R6 proper.
