I'm chatting with TVC and we both admit we hated the movie ET growing up because ET himself scared the living hell out of us as kids. I hated this movie and it made TVC too scared to sleep. When I think of ET I still remember the last time I saw it and how much it made me feel. I never got over that movie and how much that alien scared me.

Lol ALF was adorable and hilarious. And he was fuzzy too (used to have an ALF plush a kid

). ET was none of these. An ugly walking turtle if anything.

My parents didn't let me watch it anyway, so I only got to see it when I was in my teens. Didn't miss anything.

The movie was harmless. The Atari 2600 video game scared the shit out of me. I couldn't believe I spent $29.99 on this trash. It gave me chills.

$30 was like a million dollars to an 8 year old. Raked a lot of leaves to get that much. :'(
