going down onto the planets was a mistake imo
Kind of wished I'd played the Star Trek-ified spinoff, I heard it was decent...
it's basically the same as the first two with the license slapped on, not even really a bonus eye candy jump like Wars to Vengeance was, it's kinda funny that it was always touted as from the people who made Colony Wars when it's like three of the dudes from a team of 20+ on CW, most notably the lead programmer though
it looks like half the team of Star Trek: Invasion wound up working at Treyarch on Call of Duty or at TT on LEGO games, so becoming millionaires probably smoothed over their loss of making space games when their studio got swallowed up by Activision
that lead programmer is also listed as one of the original designers for the Zombies mode in Black Ops, so he's probably a billionaire with child orphan servants
