The Yellow Labrador Retriever lived at the Côté Canal bed and breakfast with his owner, Caroline Van Langeraet. He could usually be seen lounging half-asleep on a windowsill facing the Groenerei canal;[2] Langeraet says that it was his favorite spot for years, in all seasons.[3] Tour boats on the canal often paused specifically to allow the passengers to take Fidèle's picture.[4] According to Langeraet, American tourists have sent the dog fan mail and parcels with toys.[3]In media, Fidèle appeared in the 2008 film In Bruges — which only increased his fame[3] — as well as a television advertisement for Godiva Chocolatier.[5]

I hope he's guilty though.Yeah, I guess it all depends on how the investigation was conducted. Did they bring those 8 women in and say, "Hrmm, was there anything memorable the night officer Holtzclaw interacted with you?" whereby they all said the same thing... Or was it more, "Did this guy rape you? Yes or no." I'm thinking it's probably the former if they approached it with any sense. In that case, I can't see how all those women coincidentally lied about the same thing, while Holtzclaw shut off his computer and locator every single time. Plus, I know intuition doesn't count for much, but that interrogation video is something else: dude doesn't have an ounce of surprise or indignation for what he is being alleged to have done..he also starts remembering pertinent information after the investigators bring it up, even after he explains the incident multiple times previously without that information ("Did she say something about a gun?" "Oh yeah, she was talking about a pistol")
