Gaming has never been better.
Nearly all forum dwelling gamers who console war, complain and nitpick are dickheads.
We get good 2D Sonic sequels and an amazing Dragonball Z game. Plus a mini SNES that you can hook up to any TV with HDMI.
Also DOOM, Cyberpunk, Smash Bros. Ultimate... Battletoads and Metroid Prime will return. Japanese games sell a fuck ton on Steam.
A Resident Evil 2 remake that looks like it was a gift from heaven. Oh and broken games like No Mans Sky even get fixed. Fuck yeah.
If that isn't a sign that gaming is going in the right direction... I don't know what is.

Remember what it was like to play a SNES game, say Mega Man X without using an emulator?
- Find a SNES that works
- Find a TV that still has ancient connection options
- Find a cable that works, or buy a modded one from ebay
- Hook up a bunch of wires and dongles
- Find a working SNES controller
- Find a cartrdige that matches your SNES region that still has a working save battery and/or doesn't cost $200
All I need now is a USB port and I can play Mega Man X on a 4K TV.

If I'm bored I can switch channels and start a game Mario Kart 8 Deluxe within minutes.
Bored of that, I switch to the Xbox One X to play some HALO or Nier or whatever.
At work? Don't worry. Just boot up Steam and start DOOM. Have fun playing.
I don't even have to go out to buy games. If I don't want to play myself I can watch professional tourneys of fighting games, FPS games, strategy games and whatnot.
Hell, I could even make money playing games if I wanted to.
But all people do is complain and whine about lazy devs and bad publishers. While we're living in the golden age of gaming.
