I’ve only ever gotten negative effects from antidepressants. Generally non-mental side effects. Most frequently impotence. Great side effect for a depression treatment right there.

Only two drugs I’ve taken that seemed to actually work directly on effects of depression:

1) Lamotrigine. Not normally used as an antidepressant. Definitely triggered mania, though. Pretty sure it had other notable side effects, maybe when you first start taking? Does this one cause a rash? Or was that Abilify?

2) Lithium. This shit’s great for depression, like very very obviously, but the zombie effect is strong and the side effects list is terrifying. Go to wiki and look at the list of side effects that over 10% of users get. Also: thyroid fucker.
