When he says "I'll cut off my penis," isn't it the reader's fault they associate penis cutting with being trans?
Nothing he said implied he felt like a different gender or that he was castrating himself to alleviate dysphoria
It's like saying a cis guy putting on a dress is somehow transphobic because it's like wearing a
trans costume, something you can easily put on and take off, unlike people who experience severe distress over the question of whether to outwardly signal femininity
