Lars Von Trier movies are divisive but they're meant to be, catching feelings over his stuff is losing the game in the worst way.

There's catching feelings and then there's finding most of his work boring and tryhard.

Yeah his movies kinda suck, guy quoted was 150% catching feelings though. Best way to deal with LvT movies outside an academic discussion of film is just to ignore them, starve him of controversy and his movies are just direct to VHS specials for people who inject krokodil into their eyeballs for fun.

First of all, why was the officer alone, doesn't he have a partner? He should've waited for backup before even engaging. If a suspect has a gun you'd also approach him differently, same goes for when you aren't sure you can take on the suspect physically.

Honestly seems like it's ok to just run after an unarmed suspect by yourself when you can just shoot to kill if necessary.

If you're grappling with a guy who *wasn't* subdued by a tazer, odds are that the guy is probably so amped up that he can fucking kill you, especially in a grappling situation. Guy just needs to get you in a position where he can twist your gun, bite your neck, or get a thumb in your eye and you're dead.
