Dems losing "every race" in 2016 is not a reflection on whether or not Dems are serious about income inequality, nor is it even a measure of how much Americans care about it since 2016 was successfully framed as a culture and demographics war. The major Dem policy proposals right now are to re-raise taxes on the upper class / corporations, and institute a large wealth transfer by means of national programs (healthcare and education), buttressed by increasing access to these things through social justice. So yes, I'd say that the notion of major material inequality in American society is a significant pillar of the American left for the first time since the Johnson administration.

Not sure I would call it a problem if that's the vibe they're going for with this game. Historical Accuracy has never been Battlefield's strongest point after BF2.
BF1 was still fun despite having little to do with WW1 except for locales and factions.

Although I admit, it was pretty dumb how Trevor and the DICE people went on about how 'REALISTIC' battlefield is and Noah's war buddy (citation needed) thought he had served in the army because he knew all about the weapon handling.

This was a bad trailer lol.

Presents itself as campaign footage, people don't realize its multiplayer, people think its all fake with a HUD put on top, the way they present the woman, people think it represents women who fought in WW2 instead of a multiplayer character with way too many wacky customizations, playing up the Battlefield multiplayer goofy shenanigans without framing its not the campaign.

90% of the complaints stem from people thinking this is a WW2 singleplayer because of the scripted intro.

That was real multiplayer gameplay, insane and bullshot as it looked yet they made it look terrible.

I'm confused by the question... Battlefield is a primarily multiplayer game and the game's nowhere near finished so they need a trailer of multiplayer gameplay to build up the hype. It serves the same purpose as any other game trailer.

But there is no gameplay. Just scripted sequences that are so fake that people thought it was a campaign trailer until the UI appears... and still fakes like a campaign trailer.

Is dissonant because it tries to being both realistic and  wacky while not looking like a feasible multiplayer match.

Supposedly that animation is going to be in-gameplay. Where reviving a teammate or being a medic and reviving/healing/resupplies to yourself/others is going to be an animation.

A lot of what I'm hearing is a complete gameplay overhaul with recoil being CS:GO (MichelleObamaButWhyTho.gif) and gameplay/tactics of Red Orchestra/Rising Storm without the 1-2 bullet deaths of that series.

Some good, some bad. But I'm not interested in the slightest until I see one thing that BF1 had (self-repairing vehicles) confirmed gone.

Also "Game Changers"/Youtubers are pissed because the thing DICE showed them yesterday wasn't shown in this reveal trailer thing. Supposedly Angry Joe saw a lot of "mind-blowing shit" but none of that was in the Trevor Noah show.
