I mean... part of the ideology of progressiveness is a willingness to do "what it takes" to achieve progress. If one were to go into that thread and curtly say "this kind of ridiculousness is tantamount to terrorism" then the response would be "the united states government has been terrorising black Americans for centuries". Like, it's the same dichotomy that plagues conservatism in a sense... we as progressives understand that government has been bad for minorities and would, if given the chance, stop said government from doing these bad things... but we also want and need government to create social safety nets and help speed the process of progressivism.

Would any of these people actually rise up with laser rifles if given the chance? Of course not, the vast majority of people wouldn't because it's suicidal and won't achieve the ends you want anyway.

Like the title says, I left home to go to work on my night shift and 2 minutes on my way I decide to park in a supermaket parking lot to answer someone on facebook which took 20 seconds then went back on the road. A minute or too, on a 70km/h road I hear a loud bang in front of the car out of nowhere so I slow down and turn around, hoping I just didnt hit a kid, hoping so much it's not a kid and there I see a young woman, crying her life out and this huge 100lbs german shepherd lying on his side on the border of the road.

After a 100 day siege cannibalism starts in Wakanda. With no 'ice highway' like in Leningrad the Wakandans have nothing to eat but each other. The Germans offer an ultimatum. Surrender now or face destruction.
Distraught the Wakandans manage to get the word out to the British and the Americans. However, as they were never any help and the Allies don't believe in the 'Vibranium myth' they don't come to their aid. Not to mention the British after Dunkirk have no army to send. Stalin, still clinging on to the Molotov Ribbentrop pact also does not help the Wakandans.

Facing death the Wakandans decide that the only way to win is to fight. They lower their shields, thinking that their superior technology will make them victorious. Heinkel bombers throw incendiary bombs on the columns of fighters being formed while artillery and machine guns relentlessly pound the hastily assembled units. After 3 days of fighting the Wakandans have no more troops to spare and retreat back into their city. Only to have it shot to rubble by the advancing enemy.

After 2 weeks the battle is over and the SS starts to systematically destroy the city. Hitler proclaims: "There is no need for a city in Africa." Jokingly saying: "Roosevelt would gladly take them in to please his wife if he could."
The Germans use the occupied Wakandans to mine vibranium. Creating newer and stronger weapons to strike at Russia. With their new weapons the Nazi's overrun the USSR, creating an unopposed European/African/Eurasia superstate.

And that my friends is how Wakanda stubbornness won the Nazi's the war and why you should always attack like the legendary Major Foche.
