Applied for an account at the-place-which-shall-not-be-named a while ago, got cleared just in time for everyone to leave and create this place instead, and since it's (comparatively) left wing I decided to give it a shot. I can kind of understand the thought process behind this. If you simplistically bunch the three leaders into a group of 'evil dictators' without any regard of the differences between them whatsoever. Well, getting to this point to begin with. Certain conditions obviously had to be met before Trump sat down with him. That being all nuclear and missile tests had to cease. The aim is the denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula. And I don't know if Obama would have sat down with Kim or not, but at one point North Korea's stance was that the world had to accept them as a nuclear power.

If you remember Trump made a whole bunch of crazy tweets aimed at NK. Of course a lot of people saw them as increasing tensions, but in reality it seems they had the opposite affect. That is what I meant by kind of worked despite on the surface seeming like stupid comments.
