I'm talking like, downtown or near downtown hoods.  Tiny streets, tinier parking spots, tons of pedestrians.  Trucks get in everyone's way, often can't fit in a lane, can't see around them so your visibility is fucked near them and of course are a nightmare in parking garages.

Don't really care in the suburbs; go ahead and take up 4 spots at the grocery store with your bad self.

I have a coworker who drives an F-250 into downtown Seattle every day;  he's a software developer.  I just could never be that guy, he gets ticketed all the time too because he doesn't really fit in garages and takes up 2 spots.  Meanwhile when I need a truck I walk to the U-Haul 3 blocks from my house and pay $20 for a day.  Crazy thought.

Or just have enough money to own a truck for when you need it and a regular commuter car like a real American.
