The hypocrisy in that James Gunn thread is more funny than anything because of how blatant it is. 99% of the time, Ree is unforgiving and brutal when it comes to things like this. But now a Marvel movie maker is caught up in it this time, and since we can't stop watching/supporting/ball fondling Disney, forgiveness and context and the notion that people can change over time and the passage of time now matters when it didn't in all those other cases.
But I also kinda find myself judging what people buy to eat. Like holy shit I see some people check out with heavy carts filled with nothing but soda, junk food, and boxed meals including stuff chock full of sugar and calories and I think to myself “this is so common in the US.” My cart always looks like the minority, with sugar-free, high fiber, or low sugar options, produce, and whole grain stuff at the best bargain I can find.
