I never give people shit who don't vote. This country has huge swaths of area where your vote doesn't matter and the choices you are given are dogshit.

Most congressional choices are Seasoned Candidate vs outspoken Security Guard or a Nepotism baby vs unexperienced, under-funded lawyer. Districts have been so gerrymandered for years and years that they breed these inequitable political structures that only a once-in-a-lifetime cult of personality (or scandal) can overturn.

Then you have the national votes where states can remain red or blue for entire lifetimes, with no hope of ever swinging back the other way.


You live in these areas and then participate in 4-5 elections and it's very easy to get dissallusioned with the entire process.
