Yes and the criticism caused a bunch of site's policies to change, even as people started to harangue them over the most minor shit (in the GAF thread at least). GG have crowned themselves the arbiters of good conduct in the interim. The conversation with them is broken beyond repair though, so whatever...
As an example: When Filip Miucin's plagiarism came to light I saw a bunch of people on Reddit claim that IGN or the industry at large would cover for him.

The reason the press doesn't and won't have GG dictate anything to them is the closely intertwined culture war element of it that supporters want to deny or downplay for some mysterious reason.

There's still individual reviewers opinions i give some weight, can't really check out everything myself, but in general not interested in e-bloggers opinions about stuff I'm more qualified to judge than they are

    It's pretty expected that the first game would be something like this. But since Valve has opened up the biggest PC storefront (and arguably one of the biggest gaming storefronts period) to adult content, I really hope that also means more variety of adult content. You'd be surprised what sorts of things can be possible with sexual content in games.

I can't really understand the appeal of a porno game when so much good porn exists out there, but whatever. Resetera seems to keep Neogaf's allergy to big tiddies, be it the prudes or the pedophiles.
