It's like I said, no emulator I've ever seen can switch between games as fast as this one, and in a format that is visually appealing on top of it. Going from Batman to TMNT in an alphabetic list of games is slow and boring. Does it really matter to the experience of playing a game whether or not you can switch between games nearly instantly? Nope, but this isn't something I've seen done before, and usually that is what makes something become impressive or noticeable - being able to do things in a way that hasn't been done before. Still, that doesn't mean it's better than the emulators on PC or whatever, but it is bringing something different to the table from them.

Waking up to the news of playstation classic has me grinning like an idiot. I know there is an argument for backwards compatibility but honestly it's a bit silly to play games 20 to 30 years old on a machine designed to push the latest and greatest. Additionally, I think it's nice to have these games all stored separately so that a person doesn't start hoarding all these games they likely will barely play when given the option to play something newer. And I think the last great thing about these micro consoles is that they really nail the nostalgia factor. Offering the best the consoles have to offer with none of the bloat in a small and attractive form factor. So what do you think, are these micro consoles a suitable replacement for backwards compatibility for very old games?
Some of the OT's, feature threads and consistency of on brand threads definitely seem suspiciously high in volume or quality, and often it's the same handful of people making them predominantly for certain brands, eg Klobrille and Theorry for Microsoft and BAD for Apple. Being a fan in terms of posting habits is one thing, but consistently being the ones to create certain brand related news and feature threads is slightly different. Then again I've made one high quality OT before, but it was simple and I actually just borrowed the images lol.
