I admit that Annihilation and Roma were good  films and fit on the same kind of screen, but why would anyone have expectations as lofty as even mediocre for this. I think if you go into any Antic-genre Ferrell movie, you have to think "Highlander 2" to calibrate your expectations.



It's the last type of film I'd ever exclusively rent in SD and yet still be excited and optimistic.



If you're pumped for this movie and worried about the reviews or even quality, then I'm not saying you're wrong, more like "I am lucky I can enjoy this flavor without gagging."



Without having seen it, but I will, I dangerously guarantee it's seven out of ten for the kind of quality I expect and potentially 11.
