It's already been mentioned, but the easiest way to put pressure on THQ Nordic is through Nickelodeon. While sending their PR department an email is OK, the quickest way to get the ball rolling is to repeatedly go on their social media feeds, point out their relationship with THQ, & ask them to either intervene or sever ties. In addition, people can make their local/national news affiliates as well as child protection groups aware of their partnership with THQ.

This would at least give Nickelodeon a chance to do something constructive (since they're being somewhat unfairly dragged into this) rather than ignoring or running away from the issue.

I really hate those people. 8chan has never advertised itself as a place to host illegal content. 99% of the site wants every pedo to be hanged. Unfortunately being an anonymous image-board that seeks to only ban illegal content means that you will get some human refuse on the site. Back when 8chan got delisted it was basically run by one cripple admin and volunteer moderators. 8chan was not created to host cp. It was a cripple who imagined the idea of an infinitely expanding imageboard where the users could create their own boards. He was tired of the moderation on some weeb 4chan board iirc.

I honestly think they are only trying to smear 8chan as a den of pedophiles because they are so full of impotent rage over gamergate. The idea of industry professionals talking to the users of /v/ and not re drove them insane.

I honestly think THQ should sue all the gaming blogs that seek to damage their brand by trying to connect them to cp. They should sue reset as well. I think they have a case but it would likely give the story more attention and the reject gaming bloggers another reason to write about it.

In the world of Ree where post counts are a measure of your worth, anonymous imageboards strike fear into their hearts. Being on an equal footing as everyone else means only your opinion matters. It is antithetical to their existence.

Oh, and 8chan isn't blacklisted on google, it is just buried. Type 8ch(dot)net into the search bar and it is the first result. Rejects can't even get that right.

And they keep linking to an image of some obscure board called toddlercon. Apparently some fucked up carton porn involving underage. I just looked at the board list and had to do a ctrl+f just to find it since it is so far down the list, and in the last day there 5 active isp's connected to that board, probably all from Ree advertising it so often. In comparison /v/ gets around 3000 isp's per day. If that board had illegal content it would be shut down. I want all 5 of the users of that board to be hanged. It doesn't represent 8chan anymore than /v/ does.

What resetera seems to want is not more reporting on the subject, whether in-depth reporting of the subject, an interview with subjects that made the decision on THQ-Nordic, or who exactly was the point of contact on 8chan's side (which seems to be an underreported part of all this. Why did 8chan target THQ-Nordic, did they send an mass email hoping to get any company and THQ-Nordic was the only one to bite? Was there something they thought THQ-Nordic would be sympathetic to their site or something), or was there other factors that haven't been unearthed yet?

They just want opinion and commentary from all the gaming sites, and apparently every week even after there's nothing else to talk about it. The vast majority agrees with them that this was a bad decision, but that is seemly not enough. It apparently needs to be talked about day in and day out hoping for another decision that feeds back into the loophole of outrage and shock.

We're talking about a key members of a big publisher giving a spot to a website hosting child pornography and here we have the press being lenient toward that, when, if they had a fuckin spine, they should've collectively take the decision to stop covering THQN stuff and stop reviewing their games until proper actions were taken. If the biggest websites and editors in chief just decided that, the whole thing would've been resolved in a few days and THQN would've had no choice but to take proper actions, if they wanted their promotion back.

In the end, none of that happened. Crazy.

In any other industry or in any serious press, the journalists would keep coming at them until an actual answer was given. They'd keep pressing them until something was done.

Garbage apology that seriously attempts to downplay what exactly went down by not mentioning that they interacted with the "unethical content"

No apology is worth anything so long as the people responsible for emboldening child pornographers and white supremacists continue to represent THQ Nordic. Hell, they may have even written this apology.
