Third kinda sucked. The four notes in the Annihilation trailer are the most interesting thing he's done since Machine Gun. Trent's best work has been tracking down Swarmatrons to make drone soundscapes for David Fincher flicks. Let's use this topic to share our favorite boring ass soundscapes from our favorite mid 90's edgefaves

I knew trent/nin was kinda done after 2 things. He did "And All That Could Have Been" and then years later he dropped Ghosts:

IIRC he marketed/sent an email about it saying it was basically just instrumental NiN outtakes from the last few years but i remember how strong it was, how it could have been a soundtrack.

Atticus Ross is strong too, I liked his score for Book of Eli but he is much stronger with Trent.

Some of the stuff released on Still is rejects from a potential score for One Hour Photo, however. And yeah, nin is sort of doneish. They do festival shows every year (easy money!) and have been releasing what is said to be a trilogy of eps that are... ok but nothing amazing. Third one is due fairly soon.
