They could go the Rambo route, and just call it Electric Boogaloo 3.

this is a misconception - Rambo II and Trautman: First Blood Part III were Japan-only visual novels released on the MSX2 platform, friend of mine snagged an original packaging copy of each recently for under $500 total on eBay
