I know there are a bunch of games that lend themselves well to speedruns, and there is a whole speedrunning community, but have there been any games thus far where speedrunning is the main objective? If not, I think it would be a cool little genre. Like racing games mixed with parkour or something. You could have segments where you get in and out of different vehichles to complete parts of the course and other segments where you have to use "platforming" (think something like Mirror's Edge) to get past obstacles. Has something like this been done?
