There actually were some good things in the Devil's Turd multiplayer mode on Wii U. They ended up releasing the MP mode by itself in Asia on PC a while ago, then shut it down. So this is now attempt #3.

Tomonobu Itagaki, former boss of Ninja Team, has announced today that he has left his position as representative director of Valhalla Game Studios, the studio which developed Devil's Third.In the announcement Itagaki himself stated that he won't leave the company, but he will simply assume another position within it, becoming prime adviser.
If Denis Dyack can continue to be a thing somehow, surely can they.
Fail the same kickstarter twice, but apparently still keep his studio.

The ability for tiny Japanese studios to stay afloat is the weirdest thing ever. I find it extremely bizarro that the boys I used to work with in 2001 are still afloat.
What I want to know is how these guys make any money.
