I mean there are people who eat meat and stuff but I haven't encountered too many people who are super humanistic and inclusive in terms of having a deep sympathy & deep inclusive commitment towards all humans of all races genders classes etc., but take a bloodthirsty maniacal pleasure in humanity's ruthless exploitation and oppression of the rest of the animal kingdom and the natural world. why is this ??? ??? I don't get it ??? ???

are there lots of people who actually feel this way but keep it to themselves?

WTF is this guy saying?

Ninjas do wrong to each other sometimes and in that way the force of the earth comes around the moon- and at that presence, the dirt, it overshadows the grass, you like, I can't cut this grass, there's no sun coming through! So in order to enable each other the two fruits have to look each other in the eye and understand we can only be right, as the ripe is wrong, you know what I mean?

I think TERFs use "human" to refer to non-trans people. They're not just being assholes, but they're missing out on the cis/trans terminology which is basically the greatest and widest spread dad joke of our time.

I think this is just called "humanity." We've killed like a billion species so far with no signs of stopping.

Christians are a bit like this, all other species being there to be used at our leisure.

And that's the default position really.

if the ruthless exploitation of other animals and the plundering of the natural world are qualities innate to humanity, then so too is our eternal subjugation over one another.

embracing with zealotry qualities that devalue human life is at odds with the humanistic sympathies and commitment you describe. one way to get around this dissonance is to identify outsider groups and deem them subhuman as a way to rationalize certain transgressions. tribalism bruhz.

homo sapien supremacy is the default so there's no marginal utility in labeling yourself a human supremacist and giving up discriminating on other axes

this shit is just a given, you know? When like half a dozen guys can cut down a tree, hollow it out, make some spears, and go out and kill the largest mammal on earth no problemo, it's fuckin' game over. And that was before we invented agriculture and war and shit, what's gonna step to us now? some pussy ass bears or lions or some shit? fuck outta here lmao

When vegans talk bullshit to me I tell em that if animals had won the evolution sweepstakes they'd be cooking us so don't sympathize with them.

  • It was all going to be very admirable and noble and it would show us - philosophically - what it means to be human.

I agree, human nature is a bourgeois conceit.
