He spent $1200 on used fucking FUNKO POPS.
I watched the whole video
Funko was founded as a bobblehead company in 1998 by Mike Becker in his Snohomish, Washington home. In 2005, Becker sold Funko to its current CEO, Brian Mariotti, who moved its offices to Lynnwood, Washington and significantly expanded the company's licensed product lines. By 2012, the company sold more than $20 million worth of merchandise.
Revenue $516.084 million (2017)
Funko Director of Marketing Mark Robben was once again on hand to explain the several points of feedback the company is looking at in order to choose which new figure or line of figure they will develop next. Those include: What does Funko want to do and what is the company's vision for a product line, followed by what do fans want to see; and for that, they look at social media feedback. In the video above, Robben also touches on the brainstorming sessions that go down at the company in order to pick and choose which new characters or franchises they want to add to their ever-growing list of wonderful items; then Robben, Senior Sculptor Nena Lijiomah, and Creative Director Sean Wilkinson discuss the various processes that go behind creating those figures.
Oh, and don't forget to check out their new Wetmore Forest collection, featuring Pacific Northwest-themed monsters, and have a look at this very handy Funko gift guide that will surely help spread holiday cheer all around you.
When did these things start becoming popular, anyway? And hasn't that popularity faded?

Sorry, I only purchase the far-superior Nendoroids.
There's a Misfits Funko Pop?
Inevitably I end up typing Nintendroids
Waifu Wednesday.
Quote from: Kara on July 19, 2018, 03:08:25 PMThere's a Misfits Funko Pop? Why are you surprised? The band only exists now in hot topic T-shirt form thus is a perfect chose for the developmentally challenged disposable pop culture semotic trinket collecting manboy/skatergrrl demographic.

That's clearly not a Funko Pop.

I saw a guy at Gamestop picking up his latest order of at least a dozen POPS, and consulting the preorder chart to see which ones he needed to order next.
There's a Misfits everything. Jerry Only makes Gene Simmons blush when it comes to selling out.
