So I’m going to be getting the Kenshin 3 in 1 manga books and re-read. It’s been a while since I read it but it’s in my top 5 mangas. So much so I used a name based off the main character the majority of my forum career and it turns out the creator, my idol, is a pedophile.

I was going to re-read again last year when Watsuki made a sequel to RK that will never be complete probably due to his pedophile conviction.

So I wanted to make a thread about it. I love Kenshin to pieces and still can’t beleive Watsuki likes kids.

I don't think it'd be going out on a limb to say probably 20% of manga creators are likely bent in this direction. Just looking at the direction of the art and stories, it feels like this is a common problem.

Im reading it and what helped me the most was looking at the first page with Watsuki saying his shit and going,”Fuck Watsuki, but I appreciate your art.” Idk I’ve been able to read it. I’m listening to the best of Kenshin anime music YouTube video while reading and it’s a very emotional read made even more emotional because the creator is a POS.
