IIRC you need to visit a player (or visit an island at the same time as them) in order to be able to send them mail.

Also, the bug off is tomorrow! I'm gonna try leaving my gates open for a while so I can try for gold! Not letting a repeat of the fishing tourney happen again.

I managed to get one of every item (I think) and I’m fine with bronze trophy, that’s what I got for the fishing tournament. I wanted to grind to get some more cobwebs and Spider doorplates, but my first couple duplicate items were two termite mounds. I figure it will take way too long to get the items I want, especially if they are giving multiple dupes.

For furniture variations you just use customize kits on the basic furniture you order. I don’t think the clothes have variants.

Having a blast since the swimming update, and especially since my niece has been staying over the last few days.

Gotta say though, local wireless in the same room has failed 6 out of 6 tries within the first minute or so... Online is slightly more stable, with Dodo Codes taking the crown for best stability across all our play sessions.

I could only find 3 fossils today which I was mad about, but when Blathers assessed them it had the last fossil I needed, so I was quite happy about it.
