Did a search and found out that, surprisingly, no one made a thread about it. It's an incredible film, from cinematography, sets, make up, costumes, acting, mood, music, and everything in between. The movie is heartbreaking, cruel, fanciful, brutal, affecting, and beautiful. The way it parallels Ofelia's world against the back drop of war is amazing and awe inspiring. This movie is a honest to god fairy tale and I highly recommend it to anyone. It's tied with The Fountain as my favorite film of last year. And the actress who protrays Ofelia is brilliant. Great great movie. Has anybody else seen it?
