I'm a 1099 Indie Contractor because my employer doesn't wanna pay for healthcare (Ask me about the big dent in my forehead!), I'm just trying to get a VERY ballpark estimate, anecdotally or whatever, on what I'm going to owe. Are we talking a 3rd? A quarter? A half? Help me here.

If you don't do estimated taxes on a 1099 quarterly you will be charged for it.

1099's are the fucking scourge of the universe, I had them at my last job and they are a fucking hassle.

I'm so glad to have the man take his money then get it back later.
