It’s the next game from Capybara Games. It’s been like 8 years since their game called Superbrothers, which I highly recommend. Anyway, this game looks to be very similar to that and the art style is amazing. We’ve known this game was in development since 2013 or so, and we haven’t heard too much about it. They’re releasing it next week which is a surprise.

superbrothers was great, is this more experimental treatment for acute soul-sickness?

For years until I tried Superbrothers I'd always expected it would be my kind of thing. Until I played it and realized how unfulfilling it felt to experience, which was unexpected as I was anticipating a more reflective time with it and had liked some gameplay videos I'd seen. Maybe played on a tablet as it was originally designed for it would feel more platform-appropriate.

I honestly thought this was vaporware. Will definitely pick it up at some point.

Busy playing DQXI and Monster Boy I guess... Looks decent, even if Superbrothers wasn't my cup of tea (and led to every other indie dev copying its awful 1 pixel arm character designs for a while)
