2019 will be mostly asset flips such as Far Cry until next gen rolls along in 2020.

It's cute that you think "next-gen" is not going to be asset flips.
Um it won’t.....It has never been.

It certainly won’t be these stop gap games like Fall Out 76 and Far cry.

Uh what new next gen games where asset flips?

Asset flips aren't ports.

Asset flips are "well we have these assets laying around lets make a sequel, spin-off, whatever on the cheap". They happen in the end of the gen because well developers are waiting around and don't want to go all out on a late gen game, but still need to put something out.

It's pretty clear thats what Battlefield V, Fallout, and the new Far Cry are.

But what new games at the begining of the last gens have been asset flips? What big titles were nothing but a reuse of assets from a predecessor?

Yakuza games I guess...but not really because the first  wholly PS4 only game was Yakuza 6.

Breath of the Wild is a port...

If you mean to say that next gen will have lots of ports...Then fine, but thats not what an asset flip is.

An asset flip is XIII-2. You know a game that is basically resuing everything from the previous game.

Again, what are all these asset flip games that dominated this gen and other ones?

I didn't like the music in the mk trailer, i dont like real music in any fighting game trailer.

why dont they ever use the damn Mortal Kombat theme in the games? I mean the one fighting game that actually had a decent song made for it over 20 years ago and its never been licensed for the actual games? whack.

Whenever I hear Ultra I just get extreme anime fan nostalgia.
